(Track 2)

作曲:Davy Chan
填詞:周耀輝
編曲:劉志遠
監製:Davy Chan.C.Y..Eason

One More Time, One More Chance

One More Time, One More Chance

Masayoshi Yamazaki

How much more do I have to lose, before my heart is forgiven?
How many more pains do I have to suffer, to meet you once again?
One more time, oh seasons, fade not
One more time, when we were messing around

Whenever we disagreed, I would always give in first
Your selfish nature made me love you even more
One more chance, the memories restrain my steps
One more chance, I cannot choose my next destination

I'm always searching, for your figure to appear somewhere
On the opposite platform, in the windows along the lane
Even though I know you couldn't be at such a place
If my wish were to come true, I would be at your side right away
There would be nothing I couldn't do
I would put everything on the line and hold you tight

If I just wanted to avoid loneliness, anybody would have been enough.
Because the night looks like the stars will fall, I cannot lie to myself.
One more time, oh seasons, fade not.
One more time, when we were messing around

I'm always searching, for your figure to appear somewhere
At a street crossing, in the midst of dreams
Even though I know you couldn't be at such a place
If a miracle were to happen here, I would show you right away

The new morning, who I'll be from now on
And the words I never said: "I love you."

The memories of summer are revolving
The throbbing which suddenly disappeared

I'm always searching, for your figure to appear somewhere
At dawn on the streets, at Sakuragi-cho
Even though I know you couldn't be at such a place
If my wish were to come true, I would be at your side right away
There would be nothing I couldn't do
I would put everything on the line and hold you tight

I'm always searching, for fragments of you to appear somewhere
At a traveller's store, in the corner of newspaper,
Even though I know you couldn't be at such a place
If a miracle were to happen here, I would show you right away
The new morning, who I'll be from now on
And the words I never said: "I love you."

I always end up looking for your smile, to appear somewhere
At the railroad crossing, waiting for the express to pass
Even though I know you couldn't be at such a place
If our lives could be repeated, I would be at your side every time
I would want nothing else
Besides you, nothing else matters

Love Unceasingly

A Christmas play draft outline that I wrote in year 2004 based on that year's Christmas play entitled "A Fall Out Christmas" written by the JIC Youth members. The settings and the story overtone are lifted from there and incorporated to this draft that I have reworked. I've concentrated on creating key persons with sufficient character development and added just enough human emotion interactions to the story. This draft didn't make it to the dialogue stages due to the time constraints. It's been shelfed for many years...just wondering if this story would ever be a good story. I guess would never know. Hope you enjoy the story. Cheers

...............................................................

Scene 1

Time : The weekend before Christmas
Place : Living Room

A mother wrapping a christmas gift and writing a small christmas card. The christmas gift is for a daughter, waiting for her at home. The mother slowly placing the gift in her handbag.

Place : A Main Public Street

Disaster happened...people walking around aimlessly and dazed. People were mourning and crying. The people are covered with dust and debris. Parents in tears looking for their children.People are at lost and confused, some are hurt and bleeding. Some are limping, some are carried around, people on the ground shouting for help.

...............................................................

Scene 3

Time : 1 Year Later...one day before Christmas...as the world in a dire straits from the disaster.
Place : A makeshift kids' playground at a dumpster

A little girl alone playing by herself. Other kids were teasing her and making fun of her.But the little girl doesn't seem to be bother by it. Her father came and quickly shooed the other kids away, he quickly carried her daughter away.

...............................................................

Scene 4

Time : Couple of hours later
Place : A shelter for the father and the litle girl.

Father talking to the little girl. Asking her, why she let those kids making fun of her.Little girl said she doesn't mind, the other kid don't mean what they said. She remembers mommy always telling her to be patient and forgiving. She said she misses mummy very much, her father motioned the same feelings. She started humming a "song" that her mommy used sang to her, whenever she was sad. The father quickly suggested that the little girl must hungry by now. He will go out and try to salvage some food for both of them.

...............................................................

Scene 5

Time : Later that night
Place : Behind some alley ways

The father was looking through some dumpster, hoping for some food or things to exchange for food. He bumped into some people, they recognized him. They all started mocking him, saying that he used to be a preacher. Preaching about Christ, Hope and GOD, but look at him how...a beggar. Asking him, where is his GOD now? What has his God done for the people? Lies and deceptions, all are mere words of men. The group gather around him, saying that he once knows all the answers. Demanding he for an explanation of what has been happened to the world. He quickly pushed them aside and started running away from them.

...............................................................

Scene 6

Time : Moments Later
Place : Further down at another alley way

The father was running and stumbling along the way. Confused and scared...but at the same time angry with himself...and with GOD. He finally coming to a halt from running, resting on a pile of garbage. As he was trying to calm himself down, he saw sometime familiar in the garbage. A handband, somewhat like the one that his wife used to have. He opened it and to his disbelief to find his wife's belongings in it. He found a wrapped gift with a card and his daughter's name on it. Talking about Christmas, God and baby Jesus... about hope, life and love. How much mommy and daddy loves her and committed her to the Lord. Praying that her little girl will always be safe and loved. Tears were rolling down their faces, as they opened the gift. A bible and a bookmark, indicating at a these verses...

"1 Corinthians 13:13
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love..."

---- The End ----

Don't Mind

Was surfing around and stumbled upon this movie trailer "Starter For 10" http://www.apple.com/trailers/picturehouse/starterfor10/trailer/

There was a dialogue in the trailer that says this

"The people who really care about you don't mind if you make mistakes, it's what you do next that matters."
~ wait for it 2.07 min

Well...just pondering upon these words at the moment.
Didn't realized that this was my first entry to this blog for this year.
Guessed i'm not been much of a writer lately.
Anyway... have yourself a great day.

PCs

In the year 1997,

Well into my second year in college education I was the only person in my class that is using a typewriter for my assignments and reports. The machine that goes "Ding!" when typing is nearing the edge of the A4 paper. There’s no undo, no copy and paste, what you type is what you’re going get.. I needed a PC for my college projects and assignments. Finally took up the courage and ask my parents to buy me a PC. Through a mutual friend of the family, my parents brought my first PC. I didn’t know that a PC cost so much those days, I felt so terribly ripped off as I look back at the money that my parents spend on the PC. Pentium MMX 233, 32RAM, 2 GIG HD. Plus the remaining peripherals, it cost over RM 5,000!!!. This was my first encounter with the IT world, each phone call to ask the vendor come over to fix whatever I might or might not have done to PC that causes it crashed and become unusable, it’s RM80 per visit!!!. After a while I suspected they didn’t do a good job in repairing my PC. I decided to learn up myself how to reformat PC, install Windows Operating System and do up all the necessary settings without engaging the vendor’s services. It was after that I finally got a PC to do what I do want to do with a peace of mind. Then C drive was named “Angela” for a good number of years for its angelic nature minus the usual crashed and “DISK BOOT NOT FOUND” disclaimer.

The year was 2001.

I purchase my first PC on my own with the salary that I have saved up for a while now. Intel Pentium III 1Ghz with the mere 256RAM and 30Gig Hardisk with 32MB Ge-Force Graphics Card with a 17” NEC monitor. All in all, it cost less than RM 3,000. This PC was brought thru a colleague of mine then. He was the IT support for the company. I approached him and ask of his assistance in purchasing a PC for me. He asks of my budget and recommended specs based on the budget. He later brought all the individual parts required and got me involved in assembling the PC together. I must say, I indeed learn a lot from him in the hardware stuffs. There’s still so many things I can’t grasp when it comes to these IT stuffs. Few more years down the road I have periodically upgrade my PC, with a CD-Writer, more Hardisk Space, more memory and other small upgrades. “Angela” was still around then, I manage to “hooked” these 2 up and have my own network in my small little room with a crossed cable. “Angela” was given away couple of years later.

As of yesterday 9th December 2006

This PC will will longer be in my possession. I will be passing this computer down to my friend for his office usage to do application testing and other development work for his company. After more than 5 years of using this wonderful PC, countless late nights doing projects and good works has been done on it, I’m a bit sad to be departing from this good PC that has been of good service to me. I hope that this PC will continue to serve the next owner as good as it has served me.

"Ordinary People" - John Legend

Ordinary Peopleby John Legend

Girl Im in love with you
This ain't the honeymoon
Past the infatuation phase
Right in the thick of love
At times we get sick of love
It seems like we argue everyday

I know I misbehaved
And you made your mistakes
And we both still got room left to grow
And though love sometimes hurts
I still put you first
And we'll make this thing work
But I think we should take it slow

We're just ordinary people
We don't know which way to go
Cuz we're ordinary people
Maybe we should take it slow (Take it slow oh oh oh)
This time we'll take it slow (Take it slow oh oh oh)
This time we'll take it slow

This ain't a movie no
No fairy tale conclusion ya'll
It gets more confusing everyday
Sometimes it's heaven sent
Then we head back to hell again
We kiss and we make up on the way

I hang up you call
We rise and we fall
And we feel like just walking away
As our love advances
We take second chances
Though it's not a fantasy
I Still want you to stay

We're just ordinary people
We don't know which way to go
Cuz we're ordinary people
Maybe we should take it slow (Take it slow oh oh oh)
This time we'll take it slow (Take it slow oh oh oh)
This time we'll take it slow

Take it slow
Maybe we'll live and learn
Maybe we'll crash and burn
Maybe you'll stay, maybe you'll leave,
maybe you'll return
Maybe another fight,
Maybe we won't survive
But maybe we'll grow
We never know baby you and I

We're just ordinary people
We don't know which way to go(hey)
Cuz we're ordinary people
Maybe we should take it slow (hey)
We're just ordinary people
We don't know which way to go
Cuz we're ordinary people
Maybe we should take it slow (Take it slow oh oh oh)
This time we'll take it slow (Take it slow oh oh oh)
This time we'll take it slow
Take it slow
Take it slow
This time we'll take it slow

After All These Years...

Firstly... I would like to thank vteck for his discovery of the Simple Viewer, for this has enabled me finally to publish something online that I can called my own. After years of publishing " N o t h i n g | H e r e " a site that is practically 'nothing there' which I shamelessly boast about it's fastest loading page speed and it's highly conceptual design approached. Each person that I have shown my site to have came back with much angst lashed at me for my so called "Highly Conceptual " site approached, but their genuine concern of my online presence has been deeply moved me to unceasingly procastinate any web development on this site. Largely due to my own laziness actually, but I really enjoy looking at the reaction after a person have been at my site.

Initially you can find the link to that site on the right portion on this blog named "Don't Click" on the top of the links section. Now as you can see it's been replace with "Something To Click". Instead of the infamous " N o t h i n g | H e r e " it is now replace with " S o m e t h i n g | H e r e ". It's nothing great or wonderful that I shout or boast about. In this site, it consist of a small collection of photographs that I have taken during my college years. Using my Canon EOS500 SLR camera with a standard 35-75mm lens and Kodak T-Max 400 (black & white film). Anyway, hope you guys can drop me some comments on the photographs that I have taken in year 1999.

Diana Krall - Live In Paris

My current music playlist is from Diana Krall's "Live In Paris" album. This is a live recording of Diana Krall's performance in Paris Olympia Theatre in December 2001. This album won "Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album" in the year 2002 Diana Krall's rendition of Billy Joel's
-
"Just The Way You Are"

Don't go changing, try and please me
You never let me down before
Don't imagine you're too familiar
And I don't see you anymore
I would not leave you in times of trouble
We never could have come this far
I took the good times, I'll take the bad times
I'll take you just the way you are

Don't go trying some new fashion
Don't change the color of your hair
You always have my unspoken passion
Although I might not seem to care

I don't want clever conversation
I never want to work that hard
I just want someone that I can talk to
I want you just the way you are.

I need to know that you will always be
The same old someone that I knew
What will it take till you believe in me
The way that I believe in you.

I said I love you and that's forever
And this I promise from the heart
I could not love you any better
I love you just the way you are

I don't want clever conversation
I never want to work that hard
I just want someone that I can talk to
I want

Angela Aki

I'm currently listening to "Angela Aki - Home" official website http://www.angela-aki.com/ but its in japanese or you prefer in english at wikipedia. First time heard her song was in "Blood+" a japanese anime series featured as the ending theme song [This Love] in episode 26. Managed to find her music videos at youtube.com . I guess I will be listening to her album for quite a while, her last song on the "Home" album really sounds like Sarah Mclachlan.

Your Love Song
(The only english song in the album)
by Angela Aki

Open your eyes, wake up my love
This is the calm I am speaking of
Empty and cold I am torn apart

You enter the beats back in my heart

I have arrived much too soon
I'm waiting for you to enter my room

This could be your love song
This could be your love song

I lie awake, this moonless night
Knowing our timing isn't right
Shadows of dreams cast from my soul
Without your light I'll never be whole

I have arrived much too soon
I'm waiting for you to enter my room

This could be your love song
This could be your love song

Fallen Part II

Yup... i got sick, again. This time threw up despite there was no food in my tummy. The last meal i had was 13 hours ago. Hate throwing-up with an empty stomach. Decided to go to the clinic after the 3 intimate sessions hugging my toilet bowl. By some odd coincidence, all the clinics at the place where I stay were all closed. I passed by at least 4 clinics at my housing area, all closed. I have no choice but to travel out from my housing area to another garden to see if there another clinic that is open at this hour (it was nearing 12 am). Finally found one, see the doc and told him about my condition. He gave me some medicine for my vomiting. tummy gastric and suspected "wind" in my tummy. Went on home, took the medicine and had half a slice of bread. Sat down and watch tv, after couple of minutes. I had my face looking down the toilet bowl again, threw-up all the bread that I took eariler and some medicine as well. Took another pill for the vomiting from the doctor. Crashed down at the living room with the TV still on. Slept there for a while before a sms woke me up, England lost to Portugal... whoa! dozed of a little while before I drag myself to my bedroom and slept till the next morning. Ain't feeling that great, but sure feels better than vomiting water. Hope that my system gets better at the end of the day.

Fallen

Friday morning after breakfast, an uneasy feeling came upon me. It was like those feeling that one is about to fall sick, body starting to feel weary and lethargic. Purged one before lunch time, then twice after that. Tempted to take the rest of the day off from work, but managed to stay on until end of the day. Drove home quickly and went to bed straight away, the time was 7.15pm. Thoughout the night, I can feel my temperature rising and things got more uncomfortable. Fever finally came and stayed on for a while, it brings back memories of the time where I got dengue. Starting to have some sort of difficulties breathing, so I was conscious to breathe in and out. I'm not sure whether I was dreaming or deep in thoughts, it seems that I was engrossed about figuring something out. Needing "6 clues" to unlock some "hidden information", feels like it took me a while to finally figured it out. After the "6 clues" were uncovered, another "6 clues" were needed to proceed on. This time was much easier, and one final answer was revealed. Look through back all the clues were discovered and the final answer, arrange all these information in a certain sequence and de-code it in using the last piece of information. Then all the clues fall into place and one final revelation was revealed. If I'm not mistaken it was the same time I fell the fever left me. At last I rest well in my sleep throughout the night.

The next morning I woke up at 8am, feeling discomfort over my chest. It's more like those muscles strained after a long tiresome exercise. Got out of bed, head to the shower and get myself cleaned up. Ate some bread and watched some television, hoping to get my body system up and running. Drank a cup of vitamin C soluable, should have drank this much earlier on. The muscles strain over my body persist, so I decided to go the clinic to get some professional help. The doc gave me some painkillers, muscle relaxant and hydrated drink. By noon time, I ate some bread and took the medicines, head right on to bed. As expected, the muscles ache causing my rest a bit uncomfortable. Finally the medicine kicked in, I fell asleep not long after. Well rested and woke up at 6pm. Feeling much better and able to move around easily without any sort of hint of uneasiness. This is one of my most quickest time to recovered from any sickness as far as I can remember. Just glad to be back on my feet again, I'm still pondering about the "dreams" that I was having during the feverish night. Begining to lost the vivid memory of it as days goes by. Hope to stay healty and remember how great it is to be healthy than reminisce about it on the sick bed. Therefore go be healthy and stay healthy.

Needle in a haysack

I was bored... so I decided to watch some TV before I get some Zzzzz. Channel surfing for a while until I decided to watch "Third Watch" on TV3. (for more info click http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Third_Watch). The show was okay and at the ending a song played capturing the emotions of the characters have gone through in this particular episode. I have heard this song before, but I don't know the song or the singer's name. After the show, I logged onto the net and start searching for it by googling some keywords "third watch"+"soundtrack"+"ending"+"songs"...and various words. Finally found a site that titled "Music from Third Watch", but this series been around since 1999-2005. There's at least 2 pages of songs that was featured thoughout the series. Look at the list of songs that includes information about each episode that featured a song, I know the song is there somewhere. Looked through the songs, and found a song title "No One At All" by Firehouse. Quickly search for the song and downloaded it, to my dismay it wasn't the song I was looking for. There must be a way to narrow down my search, then it came to me that I have watched it on TV3. I proceed to www.tv3.com.my and check on the TV schedule, not sure what I will find. I manage to get episode title "Third Watch : Sins Of The Father " with short synosis. This is great! I search the title of the episode in the list of songs and I found it. A title that matched and below it, was a song titled "One Thing" by Finger Eleven... I'm listening to the song now
................................

Restless tonight

Cause I wasted the light
Between both these times
I drew a really thin line
It’s nothing I planned
And not that I can
But you should be mine
Across that line
[Chorus:]
If I traded it all
If I gave it all away for one thing
Just for one thing
If I sorted it out
If I knew all about this one thing
Wouldn’t that be something
I promise I might

Not walk on by
Maybe next time
But not this time
Even though I know

I don’t want to know
Yeah I guess I know
I just hate how it sounds
Even though I know
I don’t want to know
Yeah I guess I know
I just hate how it sounds
Even though I know

I don’t want to know
Yeah I guess I know
I just hate how it sounds

When there's a will...there's a way.

My handphone has a built in 42Mb memory... just enough for 6 mp3s. Yes, I occasionally listen to songs using my phone while driving to work. "Why?" you asked...it's because I'm too poor/lazy to buy a cd player for my car...and my car is a "unique" car (those who have sat in it will know why). Besides that, the usual radio stations DJ talks too much during the peaked traffic hours. Plus the very stressful experience driving with so many countless reckless drivers on the roads.

Anyway, me being me, unsatisfied with the memory limitations, I begin to wondered if there's another way to fit in more songs. Lo and behold... the secret to more songs in my handphone for my listening pleasure while driving to work....is "BITRATE" MUAHAHAHA.. so simple... it's been right in front of me all this while. The usual audio cd conversion to mp3 is 128kbps (kilo bits per second) or above for more superior and clearer quality. Hence, more data means larger file size. Using my most loved music player iTunes (I did the conversion using a PC). I change the mp3 importing settings to 96kbps...and VOILA!!!...6 songs that takes up 40 over mb...now only for 20 over mb!
That brings you to more songs. The quality of sound of course depreciates due to the lesser data file size, but when you are listening using a handphone, you can't really tell the difference. It still delivered a reasonable good quality stereo sound.

Ya...ya..I can hear you all saying... "you're nuts.!!" maybe i am...hehehe.
But there's a good moral lesson to my story...
"When there's a will... there's a way"
or there's a chinese saying "yeh hai sei geh.. yan hai sang geh"
(direct translation "things are dead... people are alive") p(^_^)q

Thank you for reading my technological breakthrough of the day.

It's been a long time...

i guess it's been a long time since i actually write anything at all.
so many things that have happened just in the span of a year's time.
so many ups and down, but mostly down...
thank goodness for all friends that have come my away and lifted me up.
surprised how far i have come and just glad that i have made it this far.
often wondered what's in-stored in the days to come.
let's just take one step at a time, and see what comes next.
